How do I get the correct measurements I need to order my pergola
kit?
Please refer to the following diagram for information on finding
the dimensions you need to accurately order your patio cover kit.
Note: For FREESTANDING pergola
kits, sizes are based on measurements from the outside edge of each corner post.
For ATTACHED pergola kits, sizes are based on measurements from the house to
the outside edge of the post.
Note: Joist and beams extend 15" beyond projection
and length measurements.
NOTE: Projection is also the direction
of your joist.

Note: Ledger beams, which are used for attaching
the patio cover to the house, use a 2"x6" #1 grade Redwood insert, allowing
for easy installation. The inserts are protected by glued vinyl caps, which lock
out moisture.
